PEA Endorses Holstine, LaGrasso, and Newman for School Board

October 2, 2025

The Pickerington Education Association (PEA) is pleased to announce it is endorsing Ryan Holstine, Brooke LaGrasso, and Charles Newman for the three open seats on the Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) Board of Education in the election on November 4, 2025.

PEA believes these candidates represent the fresh leadership needed to prioritize students, community, and staff, particularly as the district prepares to navigate difficult financial decisions.

“Our school community needs a school board that listens, collaborates, and leads with students at the center. At a time when tough financial decisions will shape the future of the district, it’s time for new leadership PEA believes that Ryan Hokstine, Brooke LaGrasso, and Charles Newman best represent the needed change on the PLSD School Board and we’re asking voters to join us in supporting these three candidates on November 4th at the polls,” the PEA Screening Committee said.

The PEA Screening Committee was made up of 16 PEA Members representing each grade band.  The endorsements followed a public Town Hall on September 16 at Pickerington High School North and in-depth candidate interviews.  A recording of the September 16th Town Hall is available on the PEA Facebook page.
