The Ohio Department of Transportation District 5 is now accepting applications for its Paint-the-Plow contest. Applications will be accepted now through Friday, March 28.

The program is open to area high schools, middle schools and vocational programs within the District 5 Region of Coshocton, Fairfield, Guernsey, Knox, Licking, Muskingum, and Perry counties.

Plow blades will be dropped off to participating schools during mid-April and picked up 30 days later. The People’s Choice Award, determined by Facebook votes, will be announced in late May on ODOT District 5’s social media pages. Last year, voters chose Liberty Union High School as the winner.
