The following statement can be attributed to the Fairfield County Board of Elections regarding a ballot error in five precincts in three polling locations in Franklin County for the November 4, 2025, election:

“It was brought to our attention this morning that a candidate for Pickerington Local School Board of Education was inadvertently omitted from the ballot in three precincts in Franklin County. This impacts 596 registered voters who live in Pickerington school district and vote in Franklin County at the following locations:

• Gender Road Christian Church
• Dayspring Community Church
• East Columbus Community Church

Upon notification, we took immediate action and are working closely with the Franklin County Board of Elections to remedy the situation. These actions include:

• Confirming that all electronic ballots in the school district’s 43 precincts in Fairfield County are correct and DO include the candidate’s name; and
• In Franklin County, immediately replacing ballots in these three locations with paper ballots that include all candidates’ names.

We will continue to work with the Franklin County Board of Elections to determine any additional actions that need to be taken to ensure that this situation does not occur in future elections.”
