“Home Sweet Home: A Candyland Christmas Adventure” Comes to Life at Mouth of the Wolf Productions.

This holiday season, Mouth of the Wolf Productions invites you on a whimsical journey with their upcoming play, Home Sweet Home: A Candyland Christmas Adventure. Running from December 5th to 7th, this enchanting production promises to delight audiences of all ages with its magical story and vibrant characters.

“I have wanted to create a Candyland world for a long time,” said director Tina Gleason. “I loved playing the board game as a child and playing it as a family with my child. In a conversation with local writer Emily Turner, the idea came up and I shared my vision with her. In her research, the story of how the game was invented inspired Emily, and from there the play took off. It captures sibling relationships with a colorful adventure.”

The production features a talented cast of young actors who bring the colorful characters to life. The set, crafted by the talented creative design team, transforms the stage into a sugary wonderland, complete with sugar plum trees, a chocolate wall, and a confection archway.

Home Sweet Home: A Candyland Christmas Adventure is a heartwarming tale that is fun for all ages.

“Who doesn’t love a candy world?” Gleason said. “It is a family show with bright colorful sets and costumes. It has suspense, physical comedy, music, and dance. All the things to put you in Christmas cheer.”
