Fairfield County General Health District 2025 District Advisory Council Meeting

The Fairfield County General Health District’s District Advisory Council will meet on March 27, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Fairfield County Records Center, 138 W Chestnut St, Lancaster, OH 43130.
Agenda:
– Approval of the 2024 DAC meeting minutes
– Appointment of the 2025 DAC President, Vice President, and Secretary
– Appointment of Board of Health Members Five-year term – Currently held by Teresa Wood, Ph.D., RN, who has served on the Board since 2019, and has chosen to not apply for reappointment. 
– Board of Health Membership  Recommendation to the Board of Health regarding matters for the betterment of the health and sanitation within the district.
– Report from the Fairfield County Health Commissioner2026 Budget review and Lancaster City public health services contract

A District Advisory Council shall consist of the president of the board of county commissioners, the chief executive of each municipal corporation not constituting a city health district, and the chairperson of the board of township trustees of each township (or their representative).

If a quorum of the District Advisory Council is not present for the meeting, an executive committee will be formed for the purpose of appointing members of the Board of Health and approving public health services contracts.
