Give the gift of family togetherness this holiday season!
December 1, 2025

The Lancaster Men’s Chorus, under the direction of Mark Severance, will present Our Favorite Things at its annual Christmas concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at Fairfield Christian Church, 1965 N. Columbus St., Lancaster. The program features a lively blend of traditional carols and fun seasonal tunes designed to appeal to every member of the family.
This year’s concert will also showcase the Bloom-Carroll High School Chamber Singers, directed by Mark Yoder.
“The Christmas concert is a Lancaster tradition that provides an opportunity for the whole family to share an experience and create memories that can be enjoyed for years,” a chorus member said. “Instead of things, maybe this year is the year to give time and make memories for your family.”
And of course, Santa Claus will make an appearance. The Bloom-Carroll singers will join the Lancaster Men’s Chorus for the group’s beloved holiday staple, “Reindeer on the Roof”—a crowd favorite you won’t want to miss.
The Lancaster Men’s Chorus has become a vibrant community asset, earning recognition throughout the region. In 1976, the group established a scholarship fund that has since awarded more than $125,000 to local students. Thanks to dedicated volunteers and strong community support, the chorus is now Fairfield County’s longest continuously operating non-profit, non-religious musical institution.

Former Pickerington Choir Director John Long, now a member of the chorus, shared his enthusiasm.
“I have enjoyed a relationship with the Lancaster Men’s Choir. Several of our Pickerington students have earned one of their scholarships. I have also had the pleasure of helping the chorus, and I think it will be an awesome afternoon of festive music for the holidays. The admission price is very reasonable and helps a great cause. It would be nice to have support from the Pickerington community.”
Tickets may be purchased for $10 in advance by visiting lancastermenschorus.org or they will be available at the door for $12. Proceeds benefit scholarships for local students studying music.
