Five Star Home Services Taking Nominations for Annual Gift of Heat—Providing a No‑Cost Furnace to an Ohio Family in Need

COLUMBUS, DAYTON, CINCINNATI — As temperatures drop across the Buckeye State and Ohioans gear up for winter — Five Star Home Services recently announced the return of its Gift of Heat program and opened public nominations for a deserving family to receive a brand‑new, professionally installed furnace at no cost.
Nominations are open now through November 30, 2025.
“Winter should never be a barrier to safety and comfort,” said Christian Rattin, CEO of Five Star Home Services. “With Gift of Heat, our goal is simple: Identify a family facing a real hardship and make sure their home is warm, safe, and ready for the season.”
Five Star’s Gift of Heat invites community members, nonprofits, school leaders, faith organizations, and neighbors to nominate a family experiencing financial or personal hardship and lacking reliable heat. The selected recipient will receive a new furnace and standard installation from Five Star Home Services at no charge.

- Please include the nominee’s name, city, contact details, and a brief description of their situation and need.

- No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. One recipient will be selected; additional finalists may receive critical repairs at Five Star’s discretion.
