 Health Aging Grant funds are currently available for low and moderate-income Fairfield County homeowners, who are 60 or older, with failing septic systems.

These funds can pay to repair or replace an existing system, or to connect to public sewers if available.

The Fairfield County Commissioners awarded these funds to the Fairfield County Health Department to address social determinants of health, including secure housing, and foster an improved quality of life for older residents.

These funds are only available for a limited time. Call the Fairfield County Health Department – Environmental Health Division, at (740) 652-2800 option#3, for more information about this Healthy Aging grant program.
