Friends of ADAMH Annual Awards and Fundraising Dinner

March 23, 2026

The Friends of the Fairfield County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADAMH) Services Board Committee announces “Stronger Together” as the theme for the upcoming annual awards and fundraising dinner on Tuesday, April 28 at Grace Fellowship Church on Refugee Road in Pickerington.

The theme for the upcoming event was chosen to showcase the partnerships and collaborative efforts from local government, schools, healthcare, faith-based organizations, agencies, businesses and others who work with the Fairfield County ADAMH Board. Working together, the mental health and substance use needs of individuals in Fairfield County are addressed and delivered to anyone in need of services. In addition to these partnerships, the board funds 15 nonprofit agencies to provide services to Fairfield County residents throughout the year.

Cathy Studer, an author and mental health advocate, will serve as keynote speaker. Having authored, “Broken to Beautifully Whole” as well as children’s books, Studer will speak on resiliency and moving yourself forward in the face of trauma or adversity. She uses the Kintsugi artform to illustrate how lives which have been broken or shattered, can heal and become whole again to become stronger and more resilient moving forward.

Several Nominations were submitted for the Friends of ADAMH Awards that will be presented to three individuals that evening who have provided exceptional service in meeting the needs of others on their mental health or recovery journey. More information on the award winners will be shared through social media prior to the event.

Entertainment for the evening will be members of the First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster. John McLain, the Director of Music and Worship for the church, is known for his inspirational voice and musical presentations in the community.

The Friends of ADAMH Event is set to begin at 5:30 with a silent auction and the dinner and program to start at 6:15. For more information about sponsorships and to purchase tickets, please visit http://www.friendsoffairfieldcountyadamh.org.
