December 5, 2025

LANCASTER, Ohio – The Fairfield County Foundation just wrapped up its most successful annual “Give” event yet, raising a record $945,784 as part of their Giving Tuesday fundraiser. With matching funds included, local nonprofits and fundholders received donations totaling $1,045,784 in just 36 hours!

The Foundation began hosting their annual “Give” events in 2014 as a way to celebrate the organization’s 25th Anniversary. Over the years, the event has been embraced by the Fairfield County community, with donations growing year over year. During this year’s 36-Hour Give, which began at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2 and ran through Dec. 3 at 8 p.m., the Foundation raised $945,784 – an 83% increase over the 2024 total. This year, thanks to a special donation from the Lloyd F. and Diann L. Helber Fund, the Foundation was able to offer a total of $100,00 in matching funds. As a result, the total amount awarded to participating funds this year was $1,045,784. A chart summarizing the results of the Foundation’s annual “Give” events can be found here.

“The special matching gift from Lloyd and Diann Helber really generated great excitement for the Give this year,” said Fairfield County Foundation CEO, Amy Eyman. “We are so grateful for their generosity and that of every single donor who came out or donated online during the 36-hour window. We have raised nearly $3 million through these events and when you add the Foundation’s match, that is over $3.4 million to support our community!”

The Foundation matched funds contributed during the 36-Hour Give on a pro-rata basis, which gives everyone who participates the opportunity to have their donations increased. For more information about the 36-Hour Give, visit: www.fairfieldcountyfoundation.org.
