Fairfield Co. Foundation Receives Donation for 36-Hour Give

October 15, 2025

The Pickerington Public Library is one of the many local non-profit organizations that are beneficiaries of the Fairfield County Foundation’s Big Give.

The Fairfield County Foundation will be holding the 36-Hour Give, their annual fundraising event inspired by #GivingTuesday, on Dec. 2 at 8 a.m. through Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. This year, following the 36-Hour Give, the Foundation will award a staggering $100,000 in matching gifts – the standard $36,000 match along with a bonus $64,000 donated by the Lloyd F. and Diann L. Helber Fund.

“We’re astonished by the continued generosity from Lloyd and Diann Helber that makes our annual Give so impactful,” said Amy Eyman, CEO of the Fairfield County Foundation. “This year’s contribution allows for $100,000 in matching funds; our largest match yet! We are excited to see how the community responds to this opportunity to increase the impact of their generosity for the benefit of local non-profits.”

Here’s how it works:

  • Any donor or non-profit wishing to receive matching funds during the 36-Hour Give must have a fund at the Fairfield County Foundation, as all donations and matching dollars will be added to the designated fund.
  • Donors and non-profit organizations should secure new donations from individuals — that must be made online at http://www.fairfieldcountyfoundation.org through the Donate Now link, using the QR code to the right, or in person at the Fairfield County Foundation offices—during the event’s specified date and time. In person donations should be made by 4 p.m. on Dec. 3. Donations sent through the mail will not count toward the match.
  • $100,000 in matching gifts will be awarded this year. All donations received during the 36-Hour Give will be eligible for matching funds on a pro-rata basis, which gives everyone who participates the opportunity to have their donations increased.
  • Matching gifts will be distributed based on the percentage each fund receives of the total contributions made during the 36-Hour Give. For example, a fund with donations that account for 5% of the total 36-Hour Give contributions would receive 5% of the $100,000 in matching funds, or $5,000. No single gift, by an individual, to a single organization, can receive more than 20% of the total match amount.
