Lancaster, Ohio – Fairfield County Auditor, Dr. Carri L. Brown, announced today the release of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for Fairfield County, Ohio. The report covers the financial activity of the county through December 31, 2024, and can be found here: https://www.co.fairfield.oh.us/auditor/fc-financial-reports-ACFR-PAFR.html. The electronic version is identical to the printed version.

The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report provides a true picture of the County’s overall financial affairs. The 2024 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report received an unmodified opinion from the Ohio Auditor of State and is expected to conform to the requirements of the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting program of the Government Finance Officers Association.

Dr. Brown stated, “This report stands as one of the most comprehensive financial documents released by the County, providing in-depth insight into its fiscal operations and overall financial health. It serves as a valuable resource for a wide range of stakeholders—including residents, investors, policymakers, and other interested parties—who seek clear, accurate, and transparent financial information about the County’s performance and stewardship of public funds.”
