Fairfield Co. Auditor’s Office Honored with OU 2025 Outstanding Community Partner Award

The Fairfield County Auditor’s Office is proud to announce its recognition as the recipient of the 2025 Ohio University Lancaster Outstanding Community Partner Award. This newly established honor recognizes exemplary partnerships between Ohio University and local organizations that have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing student success, supporting resilient communities, and fostering life-long engaged citizens.

The Auditor’s Office was nominated for its collaborative efforts with university partners, reflecting a shared dedication to public service, civic engagement, and meaningful community impact.

The award was formally presented during a special Awards Ceremony and Plenary Session on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Athens Armory. This event also served as the opening of the Engage OHIO Community & Place-Based Engagement Symposium, which continued on Friday, October 24, in Athens, Ohio.

“We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition from Ohio University Lancaster,” said Dr. Carri Brown, Fairfield County Auditor. “This award underscores the value of collaboration between local government and higher education institutions in driving positive change and creating lasting community benefits.
