Located in Lancaster, the Fairfield County Infirmary is one of the most haunted buildings to visit this autumn in central Ohio!  Featured on the Travel Channel, various podcasts, and YouTube videos, the former 35,000 sq. ft. hospital makes for the perfect opportunity to test your courage on a “public hunt” or flashlight tour alongside a group of friends this spooky season. 

For over 170 years of serving the less fortunate in the community, this formidable brick building may hold more than just history in its walls.  With reports of odd noises, slamming doors, sudden temperature changes, and objects supposedly moving on their own, this experience is not for the faint of heart. 

If you’re lucky, you may even speak to one of the local spirits who are said to still roam the grounds of the infirmary and cemetery.
