Rise & Connect

We are pleased to share a special opportunity for our community’s non-profit professionals. Commissioner Gaither—one of the nation’s most respected speakers and the first African American to hold The Salvation Army’s highest leadership roles—will be joining us for an upcoming convening hosted by the Fairfield County Foundation and The Salvation Army-Serving Lancaster & Fairfield County.
As the former National Commander overseeing services that reach millions across the United States each year, he brings an exceptional depth of experience in mission alignment, organizational stewardship, community impact, and large-scale service delivery.
While his career is rooted in The Salvation Army, Commissioner Gaither’s insights are highly relevant to nonprofit organizations of all sizes and missions. His perspectives on leadership, operational excellence, and community engagement offer practical guidance applicable across the sector. Given the scope of his responsibilities, opportunities to hear him speak in a local setting are rare, making this convening a particularly meaningful occasion.
You will find additional details in the attached flyer.
Please RSVP by March 6, as seating is limited. We hope you will join us for this valuable and inspiring session!
