“You are invited to join us for live “Music at the Museum” on Sunday, April 3, between 2-4pm at the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Museum. Pickerington historian and postmistress, Cleo Richter, can be seen playing her 1860 Melodeon in the photo below. On Sunday, Kim Richardson will play Cleo’s refurbished Melodeon as well as the Diley Family’s 1879 Taber Organ. Also enjoy tunes from our vintage Player Piano, Victrola, and tabletop phonographs. Our Museum has thousands of local artifacts to see, games for children to play, along with a new “Pickering Family” exhibit. Hope to see you Sunday at the Museum, 15 E. Columbus Street. Admission is free! There’s plenty of SR 256 on-street parking and a ramp/lift for handicap visitors off Lockville Road next door to the Fire Station.”
