In this one-day school, we’ve removed the classroom walls and let Nature become our teacher.  Join a Wahkeena Naturalist for a day of discovery around the preserve.  Who knows what we will find!  Focusing on outdoor, investigative learning, the class will be out exploring rain or shine.

Best suited for students ages 8 through 12.  Class is from 1:00-3:30 p.m.  Parents may choose to drop off children or remain with the group.  Each class is limited to 10 students.  To allow as many as possible to participate, you will be asked to sign up for only one date.  Reservations are required.  Call (800) 297-1883 or email nsteele@fairfieldcountyparks.org to participate in one of the following dates:
