Renowned Baltimore educator and historian Jim Reed will be returning to town for the second lecture of the Baltimore Bicentennial series at the Victoria Opera House. Jim will share the fascinating history behind the reason Baltimore exists today: The Ohio and Erie Canal. This presentation will recount the story of the canal itself, and the people who were involved in the first major infrastructure project to come through Ohio.
