Award-winning storyteller Lyn Ford will share versions of African and Affrilachian folktales about critters like Rabbit, Turtle, Frog, Bear, Fox, Wolf, and Spider, geared to little ones and the big folks who love them.

Lyn is the recipient of the prestigious 2023 Zora Neale Hurston Award, the highest honor offered by the National Association of Black Storytellers. This distinguished award is given in honor of folklorist/author Zora Neale Hurston. The award recognizes an individual who has contributed to the preservation and perpetuation of African American folklore.
