Christ’s Cocoons, a Christian ministry based in Central Ohio, provides new and gently used sleeping bags, tents, and other comfort items to people experiencing homelessness—along with words of hope and encouragement. As winter approaches, the ministry is working to “squirrel away” funds and supplies to help more individuals find warmth and shelter during the cold and wet months ahead.

To support this mission, Christ’s Cocoons will host a Progressive Euchre Party on Friday, November 7, at Peace United Methodist Church in Pickerington. The $20 entry fee includes light refreshments, prizes, and recognition for winners—including a special award for the player with the most loners. The event will host about 64 participants.

Proceeds from the evening will help provide sleeping bags, tents, and other essentials for those living outdoors “on the land.”
