The recent Grace Girls Gathering at Change City Church of Pickerington, held on Saturday, June 28, was a spectacular event! It brought together women of all ages and backgrounds for a time of encouragement, spiritual growth, and fun—all at no cost to attendees.
The gathering featured generous giveaways, making it a truly memorable experience.
The event began with an exquisite breakfast accompanied by live entertainment.
Following breakfast, Women’s Director Patrice Baker, wife of the pastor, hosted a panel discussion with her adult children. They shared personal insights on navigating parent-child relationships from the pre-teen years through adulthood—and how those experiences now shape their own parenting. Many attendees said they left feeling deeply inspired and encouraged by the conversation.
A highlight of the day was the surprise distribution of gifts, which included certificates to local spas and upscale restaurants, home appliances, housekeeping services, and even a personal chef experience.

The Grand Giveaway was a car, presented to Dynetta McDonald, a single mother of three and a faithful member of Change City, who had been without transportation for over three years. Her dedication and compassionate spirit made her a truly deserving recipient, and the gift will be a tremendous blessing to her and her children.
Patrice Baker shared, “This Grace Girls Gathering has burned in my heart as a passion to empower women and help them flourish in their God-given talents.”
Grace Girls is the women’s ministry of Change City, a new church that launched in Pickerington in February 2025. The ministry is committed to providing ongoing opportunities for women to grow in faith and positively impact the community. Change City will also host a July 4th Family Festival—featuring food trucks, bounce houses, and games—at the conclusion of the Pickerington Parade.
Services are held Sundays at 11:00 am at 200 Hill Rd South (between Ridgeview Junior High School and Pickerington High School Central).
