Brice Road traffic patterns will change for the start of the I-70 bridge replacement beginning August 1.

From the Ohio Department of Transportation
Major changes will be coming to Brice Road starting next Friday, August 1 as part of work on the next phase of the Far East Freeway series of projects. Work is set to begin for the reconstruction of the Brice Rd. bridge over I-70, and to facilitate this work, Brice Road will be placed in a new traffic pattern that will include long-term lane closures.
One through lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained across the bridge during this. Dual northbound left turn lanes will be maintained on the bridge for traffic turning onto the I-70 Westbound on-ramp. This pattern will be in place for 18-24 months as crews work to replace the bridge. Additional lane closures and shifts will occur south of the bridge down to Chantry Drive.
Due to existing high traffic volumes on Brice Road, motorists should expect delays, especially in the first days after the new pattern is active. To reduce congestion and delays during construction, motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes where possible.
