LANCASTER, Ohio– The Fairfield County Foundation and Destination Downtown Lancaster are pleased to announce that the 250 Plates Community Meal to benefit Fairfield County food pantries, Keller Market House and Destination Downtown Lancaster will take place from 5 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, at The Mill Event Center. Tickets can be purchased for $125 per person or $1,000 for a table of eight. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 20 at www.fairfieldcountyfoundation.org/250-plates.
Guests will enjoy an inspired menu of locally sourced food prepared by the chefs of participating downtown restaurants, a cash bar with locally crafted drink specials, and live music. Christina Claypool Deem, CEO of Claypool Electric, will serve as chair of this year’s event.
“We are excited to host another 250 Plates Community Meal for the Fairfield County community,” said Amy Eyman, Chief Executive Officer of the Fairfield County Foundation. “This event has raised more than $115,000 for local food pantries, Keller Market House and Destination Downtown Lancaster since it started in 2019. The enthusiasm from the community continues to grow each year and we are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors, who make the event possible.”
“We are excited to return to The Mill Event Center this year. We learned, after pivoting due to bad weather last year, that The Mill provides a lovely space for 250 Plates that also allows for more consistency and lower expenses,” said Amanda Everitt, Executive Director of Destination Downtown Lancaster. “We look forward to bringing the community together again in beautiful downtown Lancaster to enjoy a delicious family-style meal, connect with friends and neighbors, and raise funds to support these vital local organizations.”
