Public property improvement .78-mill bond issue (Delaware, Franklin & Fairfield Counties)
The purpose of this Columbus bond issue is to renovate existing public buildings and purchase private properties to renovate for public use. The issue would raise $250,000,000 and cost property owners $27 per year for every $100,000 of their property’s appraised value up to a maximum of 17 years.
Violet Township Road Levy Renewal (Unincorporated)
Property owners in the unincorporated portions of Violet Township are being asked to renew a 5-year, 1.5-mill levy for road maintenance. If approved, the tax would equate to $29 per year for every $100,000 of their property’s appraised value. Read More

Canal Winchester Charter Update
The city of Canal Winchester is asking residents to approve administrative updates to the city charter including the addition of a city administrator and administrative departments. The new wording also addresses staff merit compensation, the mayor’s veto power, a process for filling vacant council seats, and council member pay based on state guidelines.
