Peggy Portier, President of the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Society invites everyone back to the seventies.

September 11 from 2 pm to 4 pm, the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Society Museum at 15 East Columbus Street will be celebrating the 1970s.

Don your best polyester suit or flower-power tie dye to be considered for the honor of best-dressed man, woman or child. Judging begins at 3 pm.

Search for familiar faces amongst the photos from the decade’s Pickerington High School graduating class. Families will enjoy period-era toys and games like Lincoln Logs, Boggle, Twister and Battleship.

The little ones (and big kids too) will want to gather round for story time with beloved titles including The Monster at the End of This Book and Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.
