"Threads Through Time", our special Heritage Day event, will feature one-of-a-kind textiles from our collection. Visitors will see a quilt from the Pickering Family with names embroidered into it, a flag made by local women to honor soldiers who served in WWI with their names stitched onto stars, and a woven throw with Pickering family names woven into the yarn.

Participants learn about Coral Catsharks, conservation efforts, and how they can take action through artifact exploration and hands-on activities. Animal ambassadors will not be present at this event.

Playshops are free!! They are for everyone 18 & up. Especially, theatre enthusiasts that cannot commit to an entire show and those who would like to practice for upcoming auditions. Most importantly, if you are eager to meet new people and have some fun come to a playshop.
