America 250 – Threads Through Time

Informative Event

"Threads Through Time", our special Heritage Day event, will feature one-of-a-kind textiles from our collection. Visitors will see a quilt from the Pickering Family with names embroidered into it, a flag made by local women to honor soldiers who served in WWI with their names stitched onto stars, and a woven throw with Pickering family names woven into the yarn.

Partake in a variety of historic Independence Day activities, displays, and entertainment from 1-4pm. Participate in our "Most Beautiful Pie" contest. Pie entries must be submitted between 1:45-2:15.
