Join the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio and Rhonemus Cellars for a unique evening celebrating art, wine, and the beauty of the Ohio landscape in support of DACO’s outreach arts programming beginning at 6 p.m. September 15 at Rhonemus Cellars in Lancaster.
Throughout the afternoon, plein air artists will spread out across the picturesque vineyards of Rhonemus Cellars, capturing the landscape as they see it in the moment.
When guests arrive, they will have the opportunity to stroll through the vineyard and meet the artists as their paintings take shape. As the evening continues, guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar featuring wines from Rhonemus Cellars. The artists will then return with their completed works, which will be available for purchase that evening.
Participating artists will generously contribute a significant portion of the proceeds from each artwork sold to support DACO’s outreach arts programming. It is an opportunity to experience the creative process firsthand, discover an original work of art, and help extend meaningful arts experiences beyond the walls of the museum.
Evening Schedule.
6:00 p.m. — Guest check-in begins; vineyard tours available, weather permitting
6:30 p.m. — Heavy hors d’oeuvres served and cash bar opens
7:00 p.m. — Artists return with their completed paintings, available for purchase
Tickets. $75 per person
Proceeds from the evening support the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio and its outreach arts programming. Attendance is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
