The Buckeye Lake Pub Paddle is an annual “bar crawl on boats” charitable event.
Did you know that some of your favorites plants may be harming our ecosystem! After a brief presentation about invasive plants, we will hike about 1.5 miles to search for and identify a few of the common culprits. Learn about native choices to replace the ‘invaders’ in your yard.

Spiders, ants, and moths – oh my! Get your toddlers outside with nets and containers (provided), and let’s see what we can catch. Be prepared for a short hike.
The final wildflowers of the year line the sunny edges of the wetlands, forest, and open meadows. These flowers are a valuable source of energy for insects preparing for the coming of winter. Find out why yellow goldenrods are not the main cause of allergies and why it was once revered as a medicinal plant. Other interesting folklore will be discussed.
Watch as members of Fairfield County Antique Tractor Club bring in the crops using early farm machinery. Share in some of the work such as bagging just-dug potatoes, pick and shuck maize or popcorn, then take home some of the fresh goodies! Pick your own pumpkin and gourd – one each, please.
