The Constitution – Founding Documents Discussion Series

Join OSU professor Dr. Charles Smith to improve your knowledge of America’s Founding Documents and their legacy over the past 250 years!

The Constitution is one of the foundational documents of American government, but how much do you know about it? Whether you’re an avid history buff or only know the basics of American government, you’re bound to learn something new! Join Charles Smith of The Ohio State University Political Science Department for a lecture on the Constitution’s creation, the Amendment process, and how the document has been interpreted over the past 250 years. With a Q&A and facilitated discussion, this event is ideal for adults and for teenagers entering or in high school.

Charles Smith holds an MA in Political Science from The Ohio State University, where he currently serves as an associate faculty member in the Department of Political Science. His research and teaching focus on Political Theory, American Government, including Constitutional law, and the Second Amendment.
