South Side Storm Cleanup

Following this week’s severe storms, several Columbus neighborhoods are facing significant cleanup needs. We’re reaching out to our volunteer community to help support a South Side cleanup this Monday.

Volunteers will help clean up litter and storm debris in some of the hardest-hit areas surrounding E. Woodrow, E. Hinman, E. Innis and Reeb Avenue.

Keep Columbus Beautiful will provide gloves, trash bags, litter grabbers and other cleanup supplies.

For everyone’s safety, volunteers should only move branches and debris that can be safely handled by hand. Please do not attempt to move large or unstable trees, use power tools, enter damaged structures, or handle downed utility lines or other potentially hazardous materials.

If you’re available, we’d love to have you join us as we help our neighbors recover and clean up after the storm.
