Our historian Jack will be presenting different aspects of the Ohio Canal and Lockville! It will tie within the Celebration 250 of the United States of America! Lockville was an important stop on the canal and had over 350 people living within its borders. It had the second largest distillery, hotels, taverns and general stores.
On the second Saturday of May through October, Jack will discuss different topics of the canal, the town and its people. Bring a comfy portable chair. The talks will be informal and you can ask many questions. Looking forward to meeting you.
