Pickerington Police

September 18

1:45 pm – A 59-year-old Reynoldsburg man and his 58-year-old girlfriend stopped by Squeaks Bar & Grill to catch the Steeler’s game, where they encountered the man’s soon-to-be ex-wife.  The wife allegedly grabbed the girlfriend by the hair and told the couple to “Get Out!”

8:45 pm – A 24-year-old Columbus woman allegedly attempted to steal from the Kroger on Hill Road.  The woman already had “multiple warrants” issued for her arrest.

10:45 pm – Two teenage girls tried to drive away from Victory Park lot after a fight broke out.  Their vehicle was allegedly surrounded by the crowd and the windshield smashed.

September 19

6:45 am – An employee was accused of taking $200.00 from the BP on Refugee Road.

12:00 pm – While arresting a male student at Pickerington Central on a warrant, officers discovered handgun ammunition on his person.

September 20

12:45 am – Two teenagers were allegedly using marijuana in a vehicle parked at Victory Park.

 

 

4:30 pm – Suspects claiming to be “FBI Agents” scammed a 77-year-old Pickerington woman into purchasing $2,000.00 worth of Nordstrom gift cards then phoning them the codes.  The telephone numbers could not be traced.

September 21

10:15 pm – A 35-year-old Columbus woman allegedly attempted to steal shoes for her six children from Kohls.

September 22

6:45 pm – Police received a report at an unknown day and time, someone broke into homes under construction near Milnor Road and stole $7,950 worth of items. The missing items included three hot water heaters, 50 sheets of lumber, three toilets, one garbage disposal, five faucets, 21 doorknobs, interior trim and angle irons.

September 23

7:45 pm – A man discovered that the back window of his truck had been broken while he was inside Cracker Barrel.  Among the items missing from the vehicle was a .40 caliber Ruger semi-automatic pistol with two magazines and a laptop computer.

  • Gender Rd. between Winchester Blvd. and Waterloo Crossing Street, traffic stop, 32 yr. old male arrested for outstanding warrant out of Franklin County, custody transferred to Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Broad/Hubert, traffic stop, 37 yr. old female arrested for possessing drug abuse instrument, transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
  • Westchester Golf Course, 6300 Bent Grass Blvd., Canal Winchester, breaking and entering, report taken.
  • 13000 block of Pine Rd. NE, Walnut Twp., criminal trespass, ring camera taken, report taken.
  • 12000 block of Basil Rd. NE, Liberty Twp., petty theft, multiple items missing from vehicle, report taken.
  • Meijer, Lancaster, petty theft, 67 yr. old female arrested and transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
  • 3600 block of Winchester-Southern Rd. NW, Bloom Twp., threats/harassment, report taken.

September 19

  • Columbus-Lancaster Rd. NW/Collins Rd. NW, investigate complaint, report taken.
  • 13000 block of Brandon Circle NW, Violet Twp., domestic dispute, report taken.
  • 2600 block of Logan Thornville Rd. NE, Richland Twp., domestic dispute, 62 yr. old male arrested and transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
  • 12000 block of Silverbrook Dr. NW, Violet Twp., identity fraud, two credit cards opened in victims name, report taken.
  • 10000 block of Lancaster-Circleville Rd., warrant, 41 yr. old male and 50 yr. old male both arrested and transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
  • 11000 block of Shadybrook Dr. NW, Violet Twp., vandalism, mailbox struck also causing damage to parked vehicle, report taken.

  • 6800 block of Stemen Rd., Violet Twp., suspicious person, 51 yr. old female arrested for outstanding warrant and transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
  • Walmart, Canal Winchester, petty theft, 18 yr. old female and 24 yr. old female arrested and transported to the Fairfield County Jail.

  • 600 block of W. Market St., Baltimore, suspicious person, subject was transported to a medical facility for a medical evaluation.
  • 8500 block of Clearport Rd. SW, Madison Twp., trespasser, report taken.
  • Beatty Rd. NE/Lake Rd. NE, Pleasant Twp., littering, four bags of trash found lying in roadway, Pleasant Twp. Road department assisted in removal, report taken.
  • 7400 block of Richland Rd. NE, Richland Twp., warrant, 31 yr. old male arrested for possession of drugs and resisting arrest, transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
