Olde Village Farmers’ Market Opening Day

On June 3, the Olde Pickerington Village Farmers’ Market kicked off its 2021 season with many new vendors joining the returning favorites. The market runs every Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm on the Village’s newly paved lot located at the corner of Town Square Drive and Center Street.

This year the Olde Village welcomes purveyors of wine and hard cider to the market including Vinberige Vineyard out of Perry County and Combustion Brewery from across the railroad tracks.

For more information on the Farmers’ Market as well as other upcoming events in Pickerington’s downtown, check out the Olde Village’s website at: www.pickeringtonvillage.com.

Pickerington couple John and Traci Glavoocich opened their wood-fired pizza business, Pompeii’s Inferno, nine years ago – the same year the Olde Village began hosting the Farmers’ Market. Pompeii’s Inferno has been a perennial favorite ever since. www.pompeiisinferno.com

Patty Hinterschied of Reynoldsburg enjoys the bouquets from Martha Jane’s Flower Farm with her granddaughter, Tessa. Tessa will be a fifth grader at Harmon Middle School next fall. Tessa’s mom, Kate, is the Farmers’ Market manager.
