The 5k course is an OHSAA certified 5\,000m course with varied terrain through woods and practice fields. There is very little elevation change on the course. Over 1200m of the course is run through wooded terrain. \nThe Central Ohio Regional Cross Country Championship is run on the Pickerington North XC course. The start and finish area is located within 100m of each other for a spectator-friendly viewing of the race.
