The 5k course is an OHSAA certified 5\,000m course with varied terrain through woods and practice fields. There is very little elevation change on the course. Over 1200m of the course is run through wooded terrain. \nThe Central Ohio Regional Cross Country Championship is run on the Pickerington North XC course. The start and finish area is located within 100m of each other for a spectator-friendly viewing of the race. The run includes a Kids’ Fun Run in advance of the 5k event\, so be sure to bring the whole family! \nDate: Monday July 4\, 2022\nTimes: Day of event registration: 7:15 am\nKids’ Fun Run: 8:00 am \nOrthoNeuro Freedom 5k: 8:30 am\nLocation: Pickerington High School North XC course located at 7800 Refugee Road.\nParking: Parking is available at Pickerington High School North located at 7800 Refugee Road\, Pickerington\, OH 43147. \n  \n\n * * REMEMBER: You must register and pay by June 15 to receive a Freedom 5k T-Shirt and apple pie! * *REGISTER online Here. Children will\nlearn about important safety information in a fun format\ncovering topics from how to ride a school bus\, playground\nsafety\, water safety\, what to do in case of a fire and poison\nprevention. Of course\, children will get to pedal around on\na small scale safety city to learn about traffic and pedestrian\nsafety as well. The last day of the program will be a\ngraduation ceremony. All participants will receive a t-shirt\,\nbag and bike helmet with registration.\nThis program is limited to 40 children.
