SUMMARY:Cross Mound Park Group Hike – 2022 Tri-county Series
DESCRIPTION:Walk with friends (some you haven’t met yet) on the first Wednesday of each month from March through November for a group hike at a Fairfield County Park District\, Pickaway County Park District\, or a Ross County Park District location.  The first hike in the series of nine walks is at our own Cross Mound Park! \nIn Cross Mound Park you will find the WPA pedestrian bridge that spans Salt Creek (pictured above).  After crossing the bridge\, Cross Mound Trail takes you uphill to historical Cross Mound\, along a ridge\, then loops downhill back to the bridge.  Weather in early March varies\, of course\, but you may expect to find some lovely ephemeral spring flowers. \nThere is a nice picnic shelter and a large mown grassy area where you could play games.  So\, if you want to make a day of it\, bring a lunch with you and stay a while! \nShare this:\n				Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n				Facebook\n			\n				Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n				LinkedIn\n			\n				Share on Threads (Opens in new window)\n				Threads\n			\n				Share on X (Opens in new window)\n				X\n			Like this:Like Loading...
